I thought why not tell some more about what has been going on and stuff...

school system kills creativity

Hi fellas


Since it didn't write a lot of blogs and stuff it lost you. And I'm not sad or something it means you won’t be bored. But today I've found a Ted talk (yes it started watching that stuff) and it really really made me think. Think about our school system. This Ted talk by Ken Robinson is about how school ''kills'' kid’s creativity. First I thought that it could be interesting because you know I'm still in school, most of my friends are still in school and most of my readers are still in school. And as it started listening and watching the video it knew kids are indeed losing their creativity. And it wishes it could change that but how. I'm just a thirteen year old girl with no power to change a whole school system. Or do it? It was never learned how to change something globally. So it guess i have to educate myself now?

No it shouldn’t. 

Isn’t that what school is about? To learn how come that it learn stuff like math and French but it don’t learn how to change stuff or how to buy a house? Why do we think it’s more important to know how to spell a word than learn how to be our self or to learn what we love to do? How to love? We all think you are smart and succeeded when you got a title. It means it’s better to be a doctor than to be a Plummer. Right? Or is that wrong? 
Is that the way people want us to think. Is that the way people teach us to think. People shouldn't brainwash us into thinking like everyone else. They should teach us how to think like us. How we think we are going to be happy.  Because we all care about people being happy, right? We all want everyone to be happy. And of course some people are happy when they become doctors or lawyers but some just aren’t they have spent their whole childhood learning stuff that doesn’t help them to become what THEY want what makes THEM happy.

And then why isn't there a school system for kids that makes them achieve their goals. That pushes creativity. And along the way of having the same school system for over decades we have achieved something bad. Because it knows some adults will think the same and it know a lot of my friends will think the same that this school system is old and bad. They should take the Alfa beta stuff. Alfa is for creativity like music and drama and beta is for the more logical math and science. But why is there priority for beta. Hey it think it have the answer! Because doctors and scientist make more money. This is so wrong when you think about it. Money means priority and that is wrong. Being happy should be priority and if being a scientist makes you happy, fine, and good but if you like to get creative by drawing or dancing and if that makes you happy also fine. 




So after all this talking about how school kills creativity it think we all should do something. Because again, how am I going to change this. So I’m asking for your help. Please share this message (can’t believe I’m doing this) and be happy!
